Team & Leadership Programs

University Groups
University groups are utilizing the Ropes Course to strengthen leadership, teamwork, communication and trust within their organizations. Athletic teams, leadership groups, student and/or faculty cohorts are among some of the organizations that most frequently use the Ropes Course.

During a program participants can expect to:

  • Participate in low and high elements that enable participants to learn how to communicate, function well as a team/cohort and learn ways to become good leaders.
  • Have the opportunity to work with teammates to accomplish seemingly impossible tasks and apply that to their sport.
  • Communicate expectations between coaches and players.

Corporate Groups
Corporate groups are utilizing the USU Ropes Course to strengthen leadership, teamwork, communication and trust within their specific organization. The Ropes Course helps corporate groups find ways to connect with clients and explore ways to maintain meaningful relationships with them.

The Ropes Course has high and low elements that can be altered to help groups achieve their specific goals.

During a program participants can expect to:

  • Become a more unified group
  • Enable participants to realize their individual and group potential
  • Learn ways to connect with clients and maintain meaningful relationships
  • Learning the value of 'thinking outside the box'
  • Participate in activities that will help them realize they are capable of accomplishing things that seem impossible
  • Transfer the Ropes Course experiences to everyday situations in your workplace

Athletic Groups
Teams that come to the USU Ropes Course will become more unified. Participants will perform tasks that illustrate individuals' strengths and weaknesses while learning how to overcome the weak areas. Participants will be given opportunities to 'think outside the box' and perform tasks that appear to be impossible. Applying the ropes activities to athletics can be extremely beneficial because participants will know the value of affective teamwork, facing their fears, welcoming a challenge and encouraging teammates around them.

During a program participants can expect to:

  • Participate in low and high elements that enable teams to learn how to communicate with teammates and coaches and how to get over "walls" they may face throughout the duration of their sport season.
  • Have the opportunity to work with teammates to accomplish seemingly impossible tasks and apply that to their sport.
  • Communicate expectations between coaches and players.
  • Set individual and team goals for the upcoming season.

Youth Groups
Youth groups utilize the USU Ropes Course to strengthen self-esteem and leadership.

During a program participants can expect to:

  • Participate in low and high elements that enable participants to learn the importance of working together and trusting themselves.
  • Participants will spend the majority of the time with activities that promote both self-esteem and teamwork.
  • Participants will be faced with numerous tasks that will force them to communicate and help other group members solve problems.
